When you take a course with us we will make sure you leave being an independent confident diver, this is why we provide expert instruction and we do not cramp our courses into the minimum amount of time needed, there is no need to rush, you will get enough time in the water with your instructor to get you comfortable and meet all certification requirements.
PADI Discover Scuba Diving
Never been diving? Or have you been, but never got the chance to get certified? This program is for you!
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program will introduce you to the diving world. While not a certification course, this program will give you the chance to see if scuba diving might be for you!
The DSD program includes 20 minutes of online theory (eLearning), and some entry-level instruction. Then you will don your dive gear to practice a few skills in shallow water. Once you are comfortable, you will get to go on a real dive! Blow you first bubbles underwater with an instructor, no deeper than 12m/40ft, relax, and enjoy the dive and the amazing sea life we have in Huatulco!

PADI Open Water Diver
Want to learn to scuba dive?
Our PADI Open Water Diver course will teach you, in 4 days, all you need to know to dive independently with your dive buddy to a maximum depth of 18m/60ft.
This course consists of an online theory session (eLearning), which is completed independently, so you can complete it before coming down to Huatulco (saving you classroom time during your vacation)! Once in Huatulco you will complete five shallow water training modules (confined water) and four training dives in the ocean (open water).
Have you already taken the theory sessions and confined water training with your local dive shop? No problem! Choose Hurricane Divers for your PADI Open Water Referral and complete your 4 open water dives with us!

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
Are you an Open Water Diver looking to improve your diving skills?
Take our PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course and enjoy 5 adventure dives over 2 or 3 days, where you will learn about deep diving (up to 30m/100ft), underwater navigation and three other skills that will definitely make you a better diver.
The nice part of this course is that it does not come with a big portion of theory, you will complete the Advanced Open Water eLearning at home and then you will be ready to come down and enjoy the diving! We will give detailed briefings before each of the five adventure dives, and then off you will go to learn and experience new underwater skills!

PADI Rescue Diver
The PADI Rescue Diver course is well known to be a challenging diving course, but also the most rewarding!
Over 3 days, after completing your PADI Rescue Diver eLearning, you will learn to assess, prevent, and manage diving emergencies, give assistance from shore or a boat and in water rescue techniques. This course will not only give you the tools to help and provide assistance to others, but will make you a more focused, relaxed and competent diver as you practice all these techniques until they become second nature.
Even if all of this sounds, and it is, very serious, this is a course that is also a lot of fun, and we promise by the end you will be a more confident diver!

If you need to cancel or reschedule the activity for any reason more than 2 days before the tour just call +52 958 587 1107 or email info@hurricanedivers.com
If you cancel within 48 hours we must charge 50% of the tour.
If you cancel within 24 hours we must charge the full amount.
If for any reason we have to cancel because of weather conditions affecting port closures, we will of course refund any payments in full.
*All cash payments get a 5% discount, even if you book online! You can go ahead and book online in advance and pay your deposit, but if you pay the balance in cash at the dive shop, you will get a 5% discount of your bill’s total amount.
